What It Covers

MedPay covers “reasonable and necessary” medical treatments resulting directly from an automobile accident, typically including:

• Ambulance fees, emergency room visits, and hospital stays
• Surgery, X-rays, and necessary dental or chiropractic care
• Prosthetics and professional nursing services

How It Works

• No-Fault: MedPay pays out no matter who is legally responsible for the accident.
• No Deductibles: It usually carries no deductible or copay, meaning it kicks in immediately.
• Per-Person Limits: Limits are typically applied per person. For example, if you have a $5,000 MedPay limit, each person in your car can receive up to $5,000 for their medical bills.
